BIM/CADD Support Specialist

As a BIM/CADD Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of Autodesk Revit software. Your expertise will empower architects, engineers, and designers to bring their visions to life. Responsibilities include user support, sharing technical insights for Revit projects, collaboratively developing BIM/CADD best practices, training programs, and templates. Additionally, you will assist in implementing and troubleshooting of project standards, setup, and auditing for our projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for Autodesk Revit users.
  • Troubleshoot software issues, offer solutions, and guide users.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance software functionality.
  • Conduct training sessions to improve user proficiency.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and software advancements.
  • Thorough knowledge Microsoft Excel.
  • Must have excellent communication, customer service, organizational, writing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Should have complete understanding of a BIM Execution Plan.
  • Develop and/or update CADD and BIM Library content as needed.
  • In-depth knowledge of work shared enabled models.
  • Working knowledge of geolocation from Civil coordinates.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience using Autodesk products.
  • Proficiency in Architect & MEP design processes within Revit.
  • Worked with Navisworks Manage: including Clash detections & generating conforming models.
  • 2+ years of experience in Revit setup & support, including familiarity with families, schedules, & systems.
  • Thrive in a high-energy, multitasking environment.
  • Comprehensive oral and written communication abilities.
  • Impressive interpersonal skills
  • Meticulous organizational abilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Experience with energy analysis workflows using Revit.
  • High School Diploma or State Equivalency Certificate required
  • Must be a US Citizen.

 Applicants with the following experience will be considered favorably:

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with Bentley products.
  • Exposure to programming.
